Imagine your daughter or sister is in her 20's or 30's and has no children then is diagnosed with cancer. Did the world just stop? Not for everyone else but can bet that nothing has been the same since for anyone that has had to face their mortality and the high likelihood of infertility in the very same day. Now imagine it as a single woman. Not only doing it on your own but with only one income. The reason for this website is because I do not think you should have to sacrifice your privacy and pride because you need help. I understand that we live in a world of scams. We live in a world robocalls. We also live in a world of being in one another's business and social media and as I sat with my friend watching her grapple with this very real need for help but desperately wanting to cling to her privacy, I saw a defeated look in her eye as she was about to give in and told her "no", that she had given enough. Because contrary to what the world tries to make you think, you are not required to have a Facebook account, you do not owe it to anyone to "like" their Instagram and you do not need a Linked In to get a job. And She does not need to tell everyone her personal business to get help. So we are going to tell her story but keep her name anonymous. This auctions was started by some people that know her personally and her medical story and some that do not. But the items you are bidding on are quality that can be guaranteed by the donator and you are making a quality purchase to support an excellent cause. If anyone feels let to donate funds, that is appreciated and we will keep this site updated as our Angel goes through treatment. If at any time she would like her identity revealed, we will let you know but until that time, if that time ever arrives, please don't ask.
The Problem
We live in a broken world. And because of this, people get sick. People lose loved ones and have new needs to be met. Accidents happen. Humans need help. They need help from others humans. Crowdsourcing benefits have been around a long time. Traditionally, that went hand in hand with a broadcast of information, often humiliating to at least someone involved, and out of desperation, and as a last resort, the person in need agrees.
